In general this was a perfectly good beach resort in a pretty quiet corner of Belize. The excursions were excellent and well staffed. We loved that they did toasted marshmallows on the beach at sunset and the diving platform was a hoot. The staff was very helpful and willing to go the extra mile to help us sort out travel plans etc. if you stay here I recommend you be brave and look around Hopkins for places to eat- the hotel offers bikes for a few dollars and it is a sleepy enough town that this is a reasonable way to get around, and you’ll find the local food super tasty. In general a very reasonably priced place that does a good job. The neighborhood dogs and cats were friendly and unobtrusive. Arlene, the hostess, was very friendly and accommodating. No beach view but access takes less than a minute. No problem with parking and you are very close to the cabana front door. If you want a cabana that serves as a place to provide quiet indoor comfort and relaxing sleep, this is it."
