“Amazing getaway for the wife and me. We only stayed one night but it was excellent and definitely worthy of 5 stars. The cabin was cozy and perfect for 2 people (though more could sleep of needed). We stayed in late July but the morning was a little chilly so if you want to go out in the morning a light jacket would be good. The short walk through the woods was nice and there is a place to sit with a view of part of the lake, which would be nice to enjoy a morning coffee. However please be……

“House was super cute and clean. Wifi worked well, Beds were comfy and AC worked well although we found we needed to sleep with the doors open as it wasn’t central, but just one unit in the upstairs. Listing is a bit misleading as there is only beds for 6 (1 king and 2 queens) and then a small futon or couch to sleep on or blow up mattress on the floor somewhere. Our only real problem was the Host gave us the wrong check in code so we could not get in the door and we did not have data in the……

“The host was great. Every time I had a question she was very cordial and prompt to answer. The cottage was very clean and adequate for a nice stay. Our only issue was that on vrbo the place is listed as "on the water". It was only about a mile from the lake but not on. In defense of the host, she did mention that that's where vrbo placed them on the map, so they really can't be blamed for that.”

“The location is fantastic, very close to down town. The condo is very spacious and had everything we needed. Ideal for a family of 4. The property manager was great, always asking if there was anything we needed. Will stay there again!”

This was the 3rd location and due to some unforeseen circumstances with the 2nd property we reached out to Amelia to see if we could move up our booking date as much as possible. She was more than accommodating and we were able to get to the Bluebird Lakehouse earlier than originally planned. This was a great relief and saved our trip. This is a nice cottage in a small community of them.”
