“Ho soggiornato presso Il Poggio dei Pettirossi per una sola notte. La struttura ha sicuramente del potenziale, ma al momento della mia visita diversi servizi non erano ancora disponibili a causa di lavori di ristrutturazione: solarium e piscina, ad esempio, non erano funzionanti, cosa che incide sull’esperienza complessiva, soprattutto se ci si aspetta di poter usufruire di questi spazi. La camera assegnata risultava piuttosto cupa, con un’illuminazione insufficiente che non la rendeva……

“La cura della proprietaria fa la differenza. Le camere hanno un tema che riprende i fiori. Questo complesso è molto bello ed immerso nel verde, rosmarino incluso, tutto estremamente curato, location preferita anche da sposini per il ricevimento. Ho apprezzato molto la tranquillità e la piscina che è il posto perfetto per bere una acqua tonica fresca. “avevamo due cani piccoli e non ci sono stati problemi. Il personale e' stato molto gentile e professionale. Camera pulita. Unico neo, il bagno era riscaldato ad una temperatura eccessiva. Ci torneremo comunque perche' e' un posto splendido!”

“Beautiful, seculded hilltop estate with great view and beautiful grounds. Nice pool. Hosts were warm and inviting and dinner of regional cuisine was good. Rooms are large and relatively sparse with minimal amenities, and beware there is no A/C. Breakfast was simple. They produce award winning olive oil available for purchase.”

“The reception team were very helpful with cases and taxis, the hotel was spotless, breakfast was great. The room and bathroom was spacious. Well situated in the centre, wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.”

“Outstanding location , with breathtaking views of Umbria from atop of the hill on which the small town of Bettona is located . During the 13th and 14th centuries the hotel was a hospital and an orphanage . Wasn’t thrilled with the restaurant , but that of course is a matter of taste. All in all , I enjoyed the 3 night stay , using it as a base to visit Perugia (30 minutes drive) and Assisi (also 30 minutes). Just plan the parking locations near the major sights , otherwise , it’s an arduous……

“It is elegantly decorated and maintained by the owner. Carmine had been warm and caring for our needs. The terrace on the rooftop overlooks the town. You can enjoy fantastic sunset there. Breakfast is also great. We had a very pleasant stay.”
