"The apartment was exactly as described in great detail on the Interchalet website. The spectacular view of the Lake from Brissago and the Swiss Alps down to Verbania in the South was always bathed in sunshine during the day. The trains and the trucks nearby didn´t disturb us. We often took the bus from the main road or walked up the hill to a quiet road to the train station to get to the ferry to towns on the other side of the lake."

"Der Aufenthslt war gut. Leider ist alles etwas anonym gewesen. Das Bad war ziemlich alt, genügend Toilettenpapier für die ersten 2 Tage wäre wünschenswert, ebenso Spülmittel. Das war etwas mühsam. Handtücher für die 2. Woche wären auch wünschenswert. Ansonsten gab es wirklich nichts auszusetzen "

"We also rented this property exactly 10 years ago. It's a small kind of apartment, lying in the center of Porto Valtravaglia. Apparently the owner does not like to maintain his/hers property: though it was clean at first sight, the shower in the bathroom needs some proper attention, it was molded, and the shower head leaked, the same as 10 years ago......also some wall sockets were broken and the extractor hood in the kitchen and the door of the refrigerator were broken, exactly as 10 years...

"Das Apartment liegt sehr zentral, man muss mit Glockengeläut, Chorproben und italienischem Palaver in voller Lautstärke klar kommen. Bäcker, Lebensmittelgeschäft und Supermarkt liegen sehr nah. Die Wohnung ist sehr reduziert eingerichtet, aber das Nötigste ist vorhanden. Als negativ haben wir die Dusche empfunden, da sie wirklich zu eng ist (60x60?) und das Geschirr/Besteck ist ein Sammelsurium von Restbeständen. Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist gut."
