"House was nice, plenty of space. Loved the hot tub. Communication could have been a little better with host- no response to messages until less than 48 hours out."

Elk River Retreat on the river! Great for fishing or relaxing!

10/10 Excellent
"This property was absolutely phenomenal! The house has a wonderful 1990s vibe, complete with VHS tapes, and it reminded me of the home I grew up in. The location is fantastic, with a swimming hole on the river just three minutes up the road and the beach only about 15 minutes away. There’s plenty of room for the whole family without ever feeling crowded. The back deck has seating for family dinners overlooking the river, and it was so peaceful to make coffee and enjoy the morning there. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook for a large family, including a skillet and large cooking pots. Every time we needed something, we found it in the house. It truly felt like a home on the river.I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful little getaway!"

Pacific View Home: Hot Tub & Ocean/Valley Views!

Pacific View Home: Hot Tub & Ocean/Valley Views!

8/10 Good
"Overall, it was a lovely place to stay. I only have two comments. This property is on a gravel road and that should definitely be included in the property description. One of our party had a brand new car, and was not very happy to know that they would be going up and down a gravel road for about 3 to 4 miles every time we left the property. My second comment is about the cookware. Most of the pots and pans are very well abused nonstick cookware. It was the one flaw in the beautiful and comfortable aesthetic that this property provides for your stay.Fix those two things and mine would have been a five star review!"
