“Rustic but very comfortable in a rustic area. The beds are comfortable, the air conditioners were cold, and the house was clean and well stocked. The bathrooms were clean and well supplied. Checking in and entering the house was very easy. Check out was as easy as a text saying we were gone. The town is very rustic and real close to Terlingua Ghost town, and Lajitas. And very close to the Big Bend National Park West Entrance.”

“Very nice place. Large covered patio. Plenty of adirondack chairs, a nice fire pit, BBQ grill, washer/dryer, and the pool! The pool was so refreshing! Very clean. The inside was clean, comfy beds, all the essentials. A water filtration system would be nice. We had to bring 6 cases of water. But this is stated in the description. If you have small children they'll love the pool, but no place to play. Every plant and bush there will hurt you badly! But, hey, this is the desert. ……

“The property was great. We were in town for the Tolbert Chili Cookoff in Terlingua and this was a great base camp. There is a great grocery store across the street and a lot of places to eat close by. The host for this property was great and helped with all of our questions. I would highly recommend this as an Alpine TX destination. ”

"The location is only 4 minutes drive to Big Bend which is a big plus for us. We stayed there 4 nights, and the host is responsive and keep the trash in our room cleaned every day. The check in and check out thrue texting is also convenient for us because we check in late and check out early thanks to the smart door lock. The layout is practical and in room appliances (microwave, fridge, hair blower) are also help us staying in there for easy breakfast and dinner. Overall, I recommend this place. "
