"Do not recommend for non-Spanish speakers. The hosts are lovely and the hotel is nice and clean, but communication for English speakers is tricky. Maybe if you speak French or Italian it could also work, but just FYI, none of the staff speak a word of English. But it’s pretty much like that in the entire Val d’Aran."
"Literie confortable, nous avions une chambre qui donnait sur l’avenue d’Etigny nous avons eu la musique du bar jusqu’à 1h du mat puis les cris des gens dans la rue toute la nuit, peut être plus calme avec un chambre qui ne donne pas sur l’avenue?

"One of the worst travel experiences we've ever had - completely unprofessional and disrespectful.
By looking at other people's reviews, it appears that we are not the only travelers to have our booking cancelled by Hotel Vacanceole without notice. Concerned by an email we received, we called our travel agent twice to confirm that our booking was still valid - and were reassured both times that the Hotel said the room was still available.
After reaching the hotel, we arrived only to find out...
"Auberge in the hills. Mainly a ski resort. Simple metal bunk beds. Shared bath. Bit of a bad smell in the toilets, but that's all. Great water pressure. Nice breakfast."
"The cocker did not work and we found a used condom underneath the heater.
The property is otherwise really nice as parts of it have been recently refurbished. But if you stay in one of the older rooms it is a more basic experience."
