“Amplio y confortable, silencioso, buen vecindario”

“Nos pusieron 2 toallas de ducha y dos de baño para 4 días y 4 personas,nos faltaban sábanas para las dos camas abatibles,se iba la luz al poner el microondas,la cafetera tenía rota el asa...al coger el café caliente había que hacer malabares y en general le hace falta renovación de mobiliario,los digas con manchas y quemaduras de cigarrillo,por lo demás la estancia bien,camas cómodas y bien ubicado el lugar.”

“A very comfortable house in a lovely place, close to Santander and beaches, and with lovely walks straight from the door. Dog-friendly with a large and fully enclosed garden. The owners went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and made us feel really welcome. I’m already looking forward to going back!”

“Pasamos unos dias estupendos, la casa esta muy bien, aunque necesita algunas pequeñas mejoras. Al ser una casa tan grande la nevera se queda pequeña. Estuvimos 15 persona y no nos cabia toda la compra. Por poner una pega, mejoraria las almohadas, la zona de la piscina que esta un poco salvaje, y el sofa cama es para que duerman niños, ya que el colchon no es apto para adultos. Por lo demas, la casa es muy bonita, y esta en una zona muy tranquila, esta bien equipada, y tuvimos todo lo necesario……

“Die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich und bei Anfragen immer hilfreich. Danke! Leider waren wir nicht so happy mit dem Objekt selbst, da es direkt an der vielbefahrenen Hauptstraße nach Noja liegt. Dadurch hatten wir immer Straßenlärm in der Wohnung. Schlafen bei offenem Fenster war nur schwer möglich. Das war uns aufgrund des FeWo-direkt Inserats so nicht bewußt. Dem Appartment merkten man den Charme der 70er Jahre an. Auch laden die Wohnzimmermöbel nicht zum bequemen Sitzen ein. Die Couchmöbel……

“Friendly lady reception staff at the Hotel Arcs where we collected our key for our apartment 604, receptionist walked out of hotel to point to the green garage gates for our secure parking which was underneath the apartments and a couple of minutes walk away. The apartment was spacious and light, kitchen a bit tired but more than adequate, plenty of utensils and very clean. Only used the one bedroom, bed was firm which suited us, white cotton sheets. Sitting area relaxing and spacious. Was rainy……

“Cottage in centre of the village with a view of the historic church. Isla is a lovely historic village with a couple of bar/restaurants that were really good. The cottage was OK for our stay and a good base to visit the Cantabrian coast and mountains. Good size clean and tidy with plenty of towels and good bedding etc.. It's a little bit dated and needs some TLC to bring it into the expectations of 2023. Had a couple of problems with things that didn't work but lived with that rather than……

“We had a lovely stay in the apartment, which is located on the edge of Isla, but well in walking distance of the center and beaches. We enjoyed having breakfast in the small garden as well as dinner- we used the bbq several times. There are also good and affordable options for eating out in Isla We also enjoyed playing padel, the court is a bit worn-down, but still fine to play on. We did not use the swimming pool, but we did observe it was rarely crowded. The sea was just perfect, we mostly……

“Rober and his wife are very kind and supportive and gave us a lot of hints for locations to visit. The perfectly clean house provides everything we needed during 9 days for a comfortable stay, especially as we prepared our own meals. We enjoyed to drink a fresh lemon from the garden and sit in front of the house, looking at the splendid mountain panorama in front of us. “Genial casa para vacaciones en Cantabria. Muy acogedora a pesar del gran tamaño. Genial para varias familias. Hemos estado muy agusto incluso siendo solo 5 en la casa; urbanización muy tranquila, con piscina, pádel y canasta. Cerca de las principales localizaciones para visitar y playas bonitas”
