“A very peaceful location with great proximity to the airport and near a pleasant village. It is a tidy and compact cottage that was perfect for our family and Patricia was very helpful. It was pleasant to sit outside the cottage and enjoy the lush greenery. It's best not to let kids wander up the driveway toward the main house as there are large guard dogs that can surprise you.”

“Near airport , few shop and restaurant. lobby have free wifi and if you reg the member,you can get the free a bottle of madeira wine,a bottle of water and fruit.No air-con and fan in room ,but we feel cold as the wind.Beautiful view .You can take bus to Funchal,around 15min and cost around 2Euro/way”

“Stayed for 8 days
Unfortunately when I got my confirmation we were on the third floor pretty high 6 flights of stairs no lifts which we were unaware of so something to consider when booking
Bed was comfortable room cleaned every third day also towels were replaced
Kitchen was small but ok except the small microwave was on a shelf about 5 and half feet high so you would need to step stool to safely use it but no step stool provided
It was convenient close to Madeira mall and super market……
