“Despite turning up in biker gear I was welcomed warmly by the lady on reception. The breakfast options were explained and I went to the room. The room was clean and had a good array of bits and pieces, 2 small waters, dental care kit etc, a hairdryer with additional bits I don’t know the use for being A; male and B; bald. The towels were nicely folded in a way I hadn’t seen before. The shower was huge and the bed comfortable. The one thing I would say is u could hear the neighbours through the……

“One of the worst hotel stays I've ever experienced. This hotel is an embarrassment and should not have been opened when we stayed. The room was extremely dated with cracked and patched walls that had not been painted, worn, and bare carpet with holes (literally), no bed skirt so just an exposed base. The restaurant was closed for the season, the bar was closed two nights a week, including one of nights we stayed. There was no mention of any of this or the construction going on when……
