“I had a lovely stay at the Exeter Inn! Michelle and Martin gave me the warmest welcome, and the whole place felt instantly inviting. I met up with friends from Bampton for dinner, and the Festive Christmas menu was excellent — beautifully cooked and full of flavour. I stayed in the Brook bedroom, which was immaculate and thoughtfully supplied with plenty of toiletries. A genuinely delightful visit and I’d happily return. Thank you !”

“Caro the host was lovely and friendly and very hospitable. The old Manor House is beautiful set in rolling countryside. The bedroom was large, beds were comfortable and good shower. Caro provides an excellent breakfast with plenty of choice. Would defo visit again. The Globe Inn nearby does good food and the staff and locals were good fun.”

“A great hotel. Very cosy as you walk in and a warm welcome. We had a family room. The beds were very comfortable andy daughter was delighted by the bunk beds! Great having bath and shower option. We used the pool and steam room twice, great edition. Ate one evening in the bar and the food was lovely. Would definitely recommend.”

“I have stayed here many times and have never had a problem. Staff are always super friendly and very welcoming. You get a real welcoming ‘local pub’ feel when you go in. The bar area is really cosy and the food is fantastic-large portions and a good choice on the menu. Sunday roast is great too!! Rooms are clean, comfortable and have everything you need. An excellent place to stay so I would highly recommend. ”

“An interesting hotel housed in a group of medieval buildings. Lots of exposed beams and narrow stairs. The staff were friendly and helpful and we were very comfortable for the one night we spent there. The food is ok. Nothing to complain about at this price point. Very good value.”
