“Our stay at 3 bedroom cottage was enjoyable. The house was nicely decorated and very clean upon arrival, exceeding expectations. The kitchen was well-stocked with cooking supplies, and the comfortable beds ensured a good night's sleep. The location was ideal, with close stores for groceries or food. You are able to see houghton lake from the location as it’s at the beginning of the canal. Fun to watch boats come in and out. Only negative is that you are unable to swim at the property. You can……

“Loved the cabin had a great time would love to come back. Very clean and spacious. Had everything we needed to cook breakfast, lunch and dinner. Plenty of firewood and charcoal for us to use and the use of the paddle board was just perfect because we only need one. We brought 2 with us so it was perfect. ”

“The host gave us an extremely informative PDF for the property and surrounding area. The location was great as you could walk to restaurants, bars and 1 cafe. The smores kits was a nice touch. The only thing that we struggled with was how to turn on the A/C, and one of the boat businesses is no longer in business. Otherwise, great place!”
