“Nantucket Inn has moved right to the top of our favorite bed and breakfast stays. Check-in was easy and cordial, and we received some excellent restaurant recommendations. Our room was one of the smaller (the smallest?) at the inn, but perfectly adequate for two, and perfectly clean. We had fresh cookies waiting for us on the nightstand. “It was pretty quiet even though our room was right next to the elevator. The neighborhood feels safe, nice, and clean. It’s conveniently close to grocery stores and restaurants, and not too far from the state park. “We had an “accessible “ room. For reasons I cannot fathom the bed was sky high. As old, disabled people it was very inconvenient to have to do a backward flip onto the bed every time we wanted to get in. The hotel should automatically provide ladders or stepping stools.
