“A beautiful farmhouse shaped like a fortress just outside of Calitri. The host is very accommodating and helped me make some reservations despite not speaking English/my Italian being no good. Waking up to the birds was a treat, the bed was cozy and the shower worked well. It would be fun to have a bunch of friends stay there for a week. Definitely requires a car, I thought maybe one could walk in and out of Calitri but it's an enormous vertical distance, it would take hours.”

“This hotel is no where close to a 4 star property! No kettle in the room for tea, when I asked the reception they said I can order tea from room service. Upon check in I asked the receptionist if breakfast was included in our stay and she said yes, during checkout we were told it wasn’t and that we had to pay extra for it. After checking in, we went to our room which was filled with flies, even few dead on the floor. I asked the receptionist if this could be sorted and they sent room cleaning……

“We are driving around southern italy just using expedia day by day. We happend upon this little gem. We booked aprox 1hr before showing up. The manager greeted us. He takes great pride in his work. The entire staff was top shelf. If you are near Emelfi this place is a must stay!! At the pool the manager checked in with us. At aperif time on the patio he came by, at dinner inside he came to check on us 2 times and at breakfast he was sweeping floors with the staff. We were very impressed!!!……
