The rivers are also typically at their clearest during this period, which is ideal for boat tours and wildlife spotting along the New River. This period is particularly suitable for travelers interested in wildlife viewing and archaeological sites. The drier conditions mean easier access to Maya ruins like Lamanai, and animals are more active and visible near water sources. It's also a great time for birdwatching, as many migratory species are present. While June to November is the wet season, characterized by higher humidity and more frequent rainfall, it can still be a good time to visit for those who don't mind occasional showers and prefer fewer crowds.
