“The rooms were clean and spacious. The meals were healthy, delicious, and varied - prepared by cheerful and skilled cooks in the onsite kitchen, and served in a comfortable and nicely decorated dining hall overlooking the grounds and forest. I highly recommend booking a tour of the grounds to learn more about the history of the garden and the habitat conservation efforts underway in the area. Our tour guide, Jason, shared expert bird and plant identification information, as well as fascinating……

“We had to pick up some equipment at the Marina in Golfito so we decided to try Amaka. We were pleasantly surprised with the accommodations..with the highlight being the spectacular view of the marina surrounded be emerald green rainforest covered mountains. We come to Golfito often but don’t normally spend the night..but we’re really happy we gave Amaka a try. THE STAFF is excellent, they upgraded our room to get us checked in earlier..clean, spacious, and very cool “marine life” large canvas……

“酒店位置不错，服务也还可以的，早餐的给一张MENU五个OPTION让选择。WIFI还可以。缺点是，房间的一面窗户可以直接看到大堂，当然了，要是不拉窗帘，大堂也会看到屋子里。有点奇怪。再就是有些客人打台球很晚，我们在房间里面就会听到打台球的声音，休息不好。”

“Quiet and away from busy roads. Building with lots of character and lots of common rooms for relaxation. Good kitchen to prepare your own food. Great breakfast and wonderful host”

“I really enjoyed staying at Cabinas Golfito. I had a flight early in the morning, so I just walked to the airport which took less than 10 minutes. Host was extremely nice and helpful. I would definitely stay again! ”

“Beautiful rainforest property with good birding opportunity, birds song, cicadas, and frogs, but "touristy", so the natural vibe gets ruined. It seems they cater to tour groups, so not very private or queit. Have to pay for 3 meals a day but on their schedule that's too late for serious birding and not as healthy as I'd prefer. I travel solo and do not enjoy sitting by myself or wasting time I could be out finding birds sitting in a restaurant. I go ut birding before daybreak so, lunch as late……
