Cherished Trip (for the 9th year running!)
I consider Jay and Geraldine two of my closest and dearest friends since first staying in their breathtaking dome for practically a decade! The views are incredible, you are steps away from a trail in the high desert, and just 14 minutes away from the Plaza, all the shops, restaurants, and museums. A day trip to Taos is a must if you have the time. We look forward to our visit throughout each year. Jay and Geraldine are infinitely warm, welcoming, and accommodating. The surrounding nature, natural spas, museums, yoga, vegetarian offerings, galleries, and tasty food are all outstanding.

Amazing Dome home
Can't say enough about what a great place to stay this was. A little architectural gem of a house, compact without feeling small, filled with funky vintage furniture and beautiful art(much of which was made by the hosts). Fantastic location-15 Minutes from Santa Fe downtown area, but very rural and peaceful. Great rail trail steps away at the end of the road -look for "Rusty" at the trailhead! Beautiful views and great stargazing. Grocery store a few minutes away for essentials and be sure to grab some breakfast at the Fina Cafe. Jay and Geraldine are wonderful hosts. Jay left us excellent coffee to start our days. Many helpful suggestions from both for things to do, places to eat and sights to see. The place to stay if you're visitng Santa Fe. We're already planning when we can come back!

Love this place and the hosts!
The house is extremely well designed. Perfectly laid out, functional with a peaceful ambiance. I prefer to be here when visiting Santa Fe because it is easy to get to town when I need to. Big bonus is the sunset view! Excellent access to walking trails (locals come here for walking, running, and biking). Love the hosts!

Enchanting stay in the land of enchantment
Our expectations were exceeded with this magical stay. It was exactly as described and even more lovely than we could have imagined. The views within the dome are extraordinary. Sunrise and sunset are not to be missed within its cozy confines. The space is well equipped with every thing one might need for a short or long stay. Jay and Geraldine are incredibly accommodating and gracious hosts. Both exceptional artists with a beautiful studio that they kindly let us tour. The property is beautiful and backs up to a fantastic trail system with mountain views. Such a joy to have this access right out the door since we had our dog with us. The isolated location also gives way to the most wonderful star gazing. A truly marvelous experience as we gazed upon a star filled sky on the first night of 2024. Thank you Jay and Geraldine for sharing your enchanting space and gifting us many memories for years to come. We hope to be back!

This may have been my favorite property that my husband and I have ever stayed in. Waking up every morning to a glorious sunrise through the large picture windows when we walked through to the living room, the complete quiet and gorgeous, natural setting, and everything we could want or need inside the charming dome. We will definitely be returning.

Immersive New Mexico Experience w/ Modern Convenience.
The dome is a very comfortable, modern dwelling, with a personalized touch. What makes it special are the surroundings, tucked into the juniper dotted high desert of New Mexico, with fantastic views across a valley--sunsets over the mountains--brief coyote serenades once each evening, and opportunities for star gazing. Yet, this property offers easy access to the main highways to Santa Fe. The owners are very kind and generous with their time and knowledge.

The property is secluded, with outdoor seating to enjoy the view. And trails to walk if you choose. There’s a full kitchen and a comfortable bed. Plenty of sightseeing in the area. And the hosts, Jay and Geraldine, are friendly and informative. We had a wonderful stay, and hope to go back again.

Santa Fe Dream Dome
Jay and Geraldine's wonderful dome is our favorite of all the places we've stayed over the years. Mind-Blowing Views and Kindest Hosts
It's difficult to put into words how stunningly beautiful this property is, and just how kind and down-to-earth the hosts are. We stayed 10 days (my husband, myself, and our 5 year old daughter). We originally planned to bring our dog, and the hosts were fine with that. We didn't end up bringing her because it was so hot and she's an older pup. Regardless, Jay and Geraldine are so gracious. They met us upon arrival, ensured we had all we needed, and that we were comfortable with the place. They asked ahead of time if we liked coffee. They provided gourmet coffee, cream, and even ice cream for our daughter. The house is beautiful inside and out, with amazing views of the mountains. Our daughter loved the loft area (though we didn't use the space). THere's plentiful room for storing your stuff. The place is spotless. And, what a novel place to be! I would recommend this to anyone -- it's a perfect spot for 2-3 people, and even a pup. We WILL be back!

Unique stay in Santa Fe
My husband, 1 year old son, and 2 dogs and I stayed in the dome for a week and absolutely loved this special experience. Waking up to an amazing view of the mountains and Galisteo Basin was breathtaking every day. The location is perfect if you're looking for something that is further out of town and not around the touristy areas. It is still close enough to drive into town with no issues. We are grateful to Jay and Geraldine for sharing their special space with us. Thank you for a wonderful experience and memories we made on our first family vacation with our son. Our stay just solidified even more so about how special Santa Fe truly is.

Best Trip of My Life for 7 Years Running!
Jay and Geraldine began as my hosts, and continue as two of my closest friends and chosen family over the last 7 years! They are warm, attentive, fun, fascinating, artistic, welcoming, and two of my favorite people on the planet. The dome is absolutely spectacular! The views are breath-taking, hiking is located directly behind the property, and coyotes and jack rabbits are your (peaceful) neighbors. Everything you need to enjoy yourself is a simple 15 minute drive away: the finest food, art, shopping, and nature you can consume. Day trips are delightful, as are excursions to art museums, galleries, pueblos, spas, and the best sunsets of your life. Book in advance as the dome fills up every day of the year!

Magical Location
Who wouldn't want to live in a geodesic dome? Jay and Geraldine were the consummate hosts, welcoming, considerate, and helpful. The geodesic dome is located a little outside of Santa Fe, near the end of the road, with majestic views of the mountains. It's absolutely quiet at night, and the starry skies at nights are spectacular. It was the perfect place for us. Highest recommendation.

Fun, unique space with a stunning backdrop!
My family and I stayed at Jay's geodesic dome in early October, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time. The dome is so fun and unique, and unexpectedly spacious inside. Jay has done a beautiful job furnishing and decorating the space, and his hospitality was bar none. We arrived very late in the evening and he had fully made up the pull out bed for my son. He even had breakfast of Trader Joe's granola, apples and peanut butter, and fresh ground organic coffee in the refrigerator with oatmilk for me (he asked me what kind of milk I drink). His selection of teas is glorious and our family enjoyed a pot of tea while playing games one evening. Jay gave some lovely recommendations about where to eat and what to do, guided us to the children's museum on a rainy day which my kiddo loved. We spent an evening just enjoying the amazing sunset and panoramic views, and a slower pace of life. We would absolutely return, Santa Fe is such a beautiful city rich in history and culture, and so much to explore. Thank you, Jay, for sharing your space with us, and making us feel so welcome and comfortable.

Jay and Geraldine were so awesome.
Jay and Geraldine were so friendly and helpful. They helped us find our way around Sante Fe and had printed out recommendations for restaurants and places to see. The home was very clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed, pots pans, luxury refrigerator, stove and dishwasher. There was ever a trail 100 yds from the house. It was perfect for walking your dog, bike riding or just taking a leisurely walk. The best part was the beautiful sunsets you could watch right from the 20 foot window from inside the house or from the outside patio. I would definitely recommend this rental. Our stay with Jay and Geraldine was absolutely wonderful. We couldn’t have asked for anything more. It was perfect.
