Ellie's Buena Vista (Ellie's Great View) is a serene and beautiful Santa Fe style home in the historic neighborhood of the South Capitol. An easy and delightful 15-minute walk from the Santa Fe Plaza via the Old Santa Fe Trail, guests will truly enjoy this spacious abode and the advantages its ideal location has to offer. Right outside the front door guests have a fantastic view of the Sangre de Cristo mountains as well as ample opportunities for amazing sunrise photo ops.
This spacious home offers 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, a large living area with a custom-built kiva fireplace. Enclosed front and back patios for privacy and a small enclosed yard accessed from the upper yard. Parking space availability. This wonderful lodging is easy to get to and is a short drive to Paseo de Peralta, one of the main roads in Santa Fe. Guests may choose to take an early or late evening walk through the historic and lovely neighborhood.
Ellie's Buena Vista can take reservations now for availability beginning May 15, 2017.

We so appreciated this adorable home so beautifully decorated and close to everything. Very comfortable beds! Good space. Outdoor areas were so nice. We loved being able to have our dogs here too. Had a couple questions during the stay that were quickly answered.

Perfect getaway home

Ellie's was everything we expected and more. Spacious, clean and within walking distance from Plaza . The great decorations make you feel right at home. Cozy beds and furniture. Easy communication as well. Would recommend and stay here again!

Lovely home in a great location

We enjoyed a very comfortable stay in this lovely NM style adobe home. The kitchen is well-appointed and the fireplace set up and gift of wine were really nice touches! Museums and historical sites were an easy walk away. We would definitely rent this home again.

Beautiful location and well stocked home!

This place was exactly what we needed for our family’s stay in Santa Fe. Close to the plaza, and within an easy drive to everything else! The outside seating areas were wonderful in the afternoon sun. The house was so clean and the kitchen had all the necessities to make a home cooked meal. We would definitely stay here again!

Charming house centrally located in Santa Fe

This charming home is in an attractive residential area within walking distance of Santa Fe's downtown tourist sites. We liked the decor, the well stocked kitchen, and the varied outdoor sitting areas. The host had lots of good recommendations, and she was quite accessible. In addition, if you are lacking in ideas of what to do in the area, there are plenty of resources in the common areas of the house to help you plan your sightseeing. The house is comfortable, and you can park on the street as well as in the garage area. Our party consisted of two couples. Roomy home and so glad for the garage as it snowed ALOT!! Had some issues that were immediately fixed by Reina to our satisfaction…..loved that 2 bedrooms were on one side of the house and the master on the other….

Beautiful stay in Santa Fe

We booked this stay for the Indian Market and it was the absolutely perfect property for that! Walking distance to the Plaza and completely quiet, the perfect sanctuary after a busy day at market. This house works perfectly for a group of friends and we felt like it was our home away from home. The host was great at communicating and we had a wonderful stay.

Lovely stay in Santa Fe

A well maintained and personable home that enhanced our stay in Santa Fe. The location is convenient to everything but is in a quiet and peaceful neeighborhood. The home is well stocked and charmingly decorated in Santa Fe style. We especially enjoyed the three outdoor spaces for relaxing at the end of the day or a cup of coffee in the morning. Great house in a great neighborhood

First time in Santa Fe, we wanted to be in an authentic neighborhood, in an authentic Santa Fe home, that was walkable to all the things to do and close to the plaza. This home was great, lots of space had everything we needed with so many different areas to enjoy within the property inside and out. Also, the pictures don’t do it justice. Host was friendly and responsive when we had a question on the first night, would definitely recommend. Read the property guide when you first arrive so that you understand the property. We are from Georgia and always expect blasting A/C, so we just had to learn about how the house works and how Santa Fe does it. Again, highly recommend! Would stay again!

Superb Property & Location

A true southwestern experience. The property was lovely with many artistic and architectural points of interest. Anything you could possibly need was provided including books and guides for the area. It provided easy access to touring, shopping and great restaurants. Would recommend it to anyone traveling to Santa Fe.

Perfect second stay!

This was our second stay at Ellie's. I can't imagine a more perfect place for a Santa Fe getaway. We could walk to the plaza, numerous restaurants, and a grocery store. The house is extremely well stocked with everything a person might need. We were so thankful for the air conditioning over that warm weekend too!

True gem in Santa Fe

We stayed at Ellie’s for two weeks and had a wonderful time. The location is perfect—walking distance from both downtown and the rail yard. The house is beautiful, with lovely outdoor space. The kitchen is well equipped and a joy to cook in. Plenty of room for us, with three adults and two kids. The beds were really comfortable. We had to work while we were there and the Internet was excellent, with lots of different spaces to work from. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

Can we give more stars?

Can say enough good things about this property. Clean, charming, supplies and amenities are all superlative. We had 3 couples in our group and the size was perfect for spending time together, but gave us our own space when we needed it. We all loved that we were walking distance from so much to do!
