Good sized kitchen with everything we needed for a week's stay, including a good sized fridge with a decent sized freezer. Large comfy sofas in living room, selection of dvds and books, a few board games. We would have preferred a curtain or blind over the small window in the living room for the evenings. Main bedroom was a good size, plenty of storage space for clothes, duvet was lovely and light but still warm. En-suite was great for middle of the night bathroom visits and shower was powerful, if a little snug. Twin bedroom was smaller, our son had it to himself and loved hiding between the gap in the beds, two adults sharing might find it a little too cosy.
We went in February so had the heating on, it's an oil boiler which was pretty loud (directly under our bed) and seemed to turn on even when the heating was off.
Overall a great little house, with more space than we expected, oh and a third toilet downstairs, which is always handy. The owner was very helpful and quick in sorting out a problem we had. We spent several days in and around Seahouses and walked, it was great to be able to leave the car, not often we can do that on holiday when we're out exploring each day. Seahouses is in a great location for day trips to Holy Island, Berwick upon Tweed, Ford and Etal and we even went to Whitehouse Farm near Morpeth one day.
