“Great place, very clean and well appointed property in a quiet residential area. Lots of local wildlife (rabbits and deer) made the stay extra special. Not much around but we knew that in advance. Local store does nice sandwiches.”

“Beautiful historical hotel, the rooms were comfortable, the bed too and we liked the vintage style fridge. Because this is a historical building the walls are very thin and you can hear everything! I'd give it a higher rating but the thin walls were an annoyance. Also, no AC in the unit.”

“beautiful and well kept. it was the perfect get out of seatown cabin! even tho it is neighbors on 3 sides it felt very secluded and the full on unobstructed view of the water . . . i am super happy about it all! also, the host always had a quick response to questions. nice little gem and i will definitely try to book again. ”

“We loved this place. It was like staying at your grandparents’ cabin for the weekend. Very cozy, tons of games, everything you could ever want in a kitchen, and views u like anything my grandparents EVER had! “The yurt was quite lux and larger than it seems from the photo (it also has AC!). Grounds were lovely with goats and horses. It has rural feeling and is quite peaceful yet quite close to town. Only downside was there was some road noise. Overall we loved it and would stay again!”

Noise from the hot tub was loud, it may have been a setting that was left on. “Cute cabin in the woods. Our doggy loved the yard! Lots of spider webs, but had seen that on previous reviews. Would definitely stay there again!”

“Very special quiet retreat. I loved the setting: a beautiful meadow surrounded by mountains. The Dosewallips is a short walk away and you can hear it from the cabin. The cabin is adorable and not small, with plenty of space for yoga. The bed was comfy, the outhouse incredibly clean. I hope to return. ”

“Had a great time and this lovely home with a really great view. Home is well stocked and we appreciated the high end appliances and well curated space. Bed was comfortable and spaces were clean. ”

“The house was just what we needed for a place to sleep and relax/eat in the evenings while my daughter had a sailing competition nearby. Host was great in getting the wifi password to me the night we checked in since T-mobile desont have great reception”

“We only spent two nights but really enjoyed the weekend break. Quiet location and the internet was surprisingly good so we could stream a movie with no issues. Yes there were a few spiders and the cell reception was non-existent but that was our goal. We love stopping by Langley and Freeland so this location was perfect. We did manage to be sucessful with our trout fishing which was an added bonus. Only improvements I could see would be to do some work on the shower so it doesn't leak...
