This is an "ALLERGY FREE CABIN", PETS of all kinds are not permitted in the cabin and NO SMOKING allowed inside the cabin!!

Cabin Description:

Whether you are looking for a romantic cabin for two or a cozy cabin for a small family getaway with all of the luxury amenities to make everyone happy, “Mountain Escape” is the just what the name implies. It is the perfect place for individuals, couples, or families wanting to escape from the fast pace life.

Remodeled in January 2022, Mountain Escape is quiet peaceful and private log cabin in a secluded, quiet and beautiful half acre forest and has a beautiful view of the mountain and the forest. It is centrally located in peaceful Wears Valley, close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. It is also just minutes away from the Great Smoky Mountain National Park and only 10 minutes drive to the Metcalf Bottoms entrance of the park.

With a cathedral ceiling and high end upscale decor, the luxury you will find in “Mountain Escape” is evident from the minute you step inside.
The main level boasts a new stainless steel fully equipped kitchen, a new cozy living area with large new smart TV screen, dining table that seats four persons, a queen Murphy bed, and a gas log fireplace, newly remodeled full bath, and large deck that enjoys beautiful views of the mountains, and a spiral staircase that leads to the lower master bedroom.

The lower level consist of over sized master suite with its own bath, a pool table, LCD TV, and an deck with a hut tub.

It is easily accessible by car with well maintained wide roads and ample off road paved parking. This is an upscale cabin with nice views in a very private wooded setting. It is perfect for a honeymoon or a second honeymoon as well as a vacation home for a small family.

For those who need to stay connected, wireless high speed cable internet is provided.

“Mountain Escape” is close to all the area has to offer, but far enough away to give you peace, quiet and serenity. Come hibernate in Mountain Escape!

We had a wonderful little vacation here. It was perfect for 2 people as it provded plenty of room. The cabin was well appointed and clean. The location was peaceful but close enough to antiques, hiking, the only drawback would be the spiral staircase is a bit steep and could be very difficult for folks who may have disabilities. The only bedroom is down the staircase. We thoroughly enjoyed the pooltable and hot tub. We would recommend for couples.

Perfect Little Place in the Woods

We loved the unique layout & design of the cabin. Being tucked back in the forest, the location was perfect for our relaxing weekend getaway……it gave the desired privacy we were looking for w/a beautiful view! Came in Thursday for our anniversary weekend. Cabin was clean and comfortable. Hot tub was great, everything worked as it should. We had zero issues. Close to everything, but far enough away for peace and quiet, and an easy drive into the cabin.

Incredible Experience in the Great Smoky Mountains

Hanna & Hass were incredible hosts - very friendly, accommodating, and communicative! The space is gorgeous, well maintained, and easy to find. This is a great spot to use as a basecamp to explore the smokies, or as a hideaway to hunker down for a lovely weekend. Be sure to check out the new brewery inside the Mountain Bros. General store!

Mountain Getaway

My wife and I stayed for spring break. The cabin was exactly as listed and we were not disappointed at all. The Mountain View from the back deck was fantastic. This cabin is also centrally located for all of the things we like to see and do. Would definitely stay again!

We loved it it was only 20 mins from all the pigeon forge activities 😀 and yet was so perfectly nuzzled away in woods we went to cades cove 4 days in a row seen tons of bears about 4 to 5 bears a day there

Love this place and wish I could’ve stayed longer. Good location, especially to National Park. Wears valley has all you need if your wanting to stay out of the way; or you can be to the more touristy areas very quickly. Great hosts. Loved it

Weekend Getaway

This was perfect and the view is the best I have seen at any stay I've had before in the area. I also loved how private this location felt. Was only about 20 minutes to anything we did over the weekend. Was clean and very nice. Would definitely make this my go to home for future stays!

Great View, okay stay

Check in was easy, cabin was decently clean but I wouldn’t say sparkling. My wife stepped into a giant pile of rice as she got out of the car, not a great start for bear country. The view was great and the main selling point of the cabin. WiFi did not work with the provided password but we eventually got that sorted. The hosts claimed hot tub water is changed and properly cleaned every visit, but several of us still got a nasty rash from hot tub use, so that was a bummer. Fire ring was cool and you have decent privacy, it was very close to the park which was great as well. Bed was very soft for my wife and I taste, but that is personal preference. Probably a one and done for me, but was a nice getaway
