“We had a great experience with this trip. It was our son's 8th birthday and he wanted to spend the weekend at the beach! This property is walking distance to the beach and we were able to see the ocean from our balcony. Room was clean. Very quiet area. Easy check in process. “It was very nice. We loved the pool and the close proximity to the beach. The house was very well laid out and accommodated all of us nicely. The kitchen was very well equipped. Overall it was very clean. On. Personal note the dining table was a bit small and we prefer regular chairs to the bar type stools. A couple of us has arthritis and getting on and off the chairs was a at times difficult. But that is the only thing (and it’s not even a big thing) that I might think about altering. Thank……

“This is our 4th trip to Surfs Up, has never failed to deliver everything as described in listing. Becky is the nicest and easiest person to deal with on any problem or issues that may come up. We love this cottage, from cleanliness to comfort. Great layout with walls of windows to enjoy the ocean views. Our very favorite is large covered porch where we sit frequently watching the water and beach or having morning coffee, and eat lunch. We highly recommend this property!! Hope to return next……

The property, however, was totally void of information … No local map(s); no list or phone numbers of nearby restaurants, nor distance to them; area magazine with some such info was 2022; finally tried, but reluctantly so, a red switch outside for garage light; with cost of unit, one roll of paper towels and one roll of toilet paper per bathroom was unbearable. Disappointing that seemingly simple things are not included. Could easily been a 5-star place.”

“If you’re going to Topsail, I highly recommend staying here. Everything was super clean, response time for communication was quick and very accommodating, and the access to the beach was very close. The home even has an elevator which was so convenient for carrying bags and groceries up. The hot tubs and pool were a perk too and also very clean. Very well managed property.”
