"Information about our rental was sent several times to be sure we had all the information we needed. Upon arrival, the first thing I noticed was the view of the beach. The house was “on” the beach! Excellent!! Upon entering the house, it was very clean, no damp smell like some beach houses have. The place was basically immaculate! Beds were clean and comfortable. The only thing I didn’t like was the running water in the house. Now this is NO FAULT on the property owners, it’s just the way the water is on the island here. I wish the water department could somehow change this. So be sure to bring bottle water with you.I want to say there were no plumbing issues, hot water was hot and every faucet worked properly.Now the deck over the Gulf of Mexico was breathtaking! Morning sunrises with a cup of coffee is not something to miss!We also enjoyed watching the huge tanker ships coming and going. They are a sight to see!"

"The property is located very close to the beach. The accommodations were perfect for my adults kids and my younger one. We have stayed here before and were happy to return! I do bring my own kitchen tote that has additional butcher knives, BBQ equipment and whatever I know I need that is particular for our meals. The outside area has kids toys, beach toys, and a wagon! We are always happy with our stays."

"We really enjoyed our stay! The house was comfortable, well stocked, and had everything we needed for a relaxing trip. We did have a few issues our first night—the downstairs bed was broken, the TV wasn’t working, and there were several ant piles in the yard. However, the hosts were very responsive and took care of everything quickly. By the next afternoon, the bed and TV were fixed and the ant piles had been treated, which we really appreciated.The golf cart rental was a huge plus and made getting to the beach so easy and convenient. We also loved that the home is dog-friendly! Being able to bring our pups made the trip even better. The yard is small but fenced, and the gated upstairs deck was an added bonus and gave us some extra peace of mind with the dogs.We would suggest updating is the aerial photo in the listing, since several houses have been built around the property since the photo was taken.Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely consider staying here again. The quick response from the hosts and the dog-friendly setup were big positives for us!"

"The home was beautiful, clean, very comfortable and inviting. It was very close to the beach and just a short drive to some very good restaurants. Melanie was super friendly and accommodating. There was the possibility of a tropical storm during our stay and she kept us updated and checked in on us. recommend this place."
