“The perfect remedy to stressful life. A couple of nights here and I honestly feel renewed. Sophie is just wonderful, the most warm, thoughtful, welcoming host. Never intrusive and so lovely to have around for beautiful garden walks and chats. Absolutely everything you could want or need is provided. Our 5 year old daughter loved it too. Everyone says it but we will definitely return here and highly recommend this property as the perfect base for exploring the region. Ideal for families, fur……

It was private, quiet, heating worked, it was spacious and had everything you needed to stay. Clean and fresh, bathroom was exceptional. walking distance to all shops and restaurants. wonderful clean laundry for people to use. The town is close to so many fantastic places such as Penola, Coonawarra wineries, national park and beaches at Southend and Beachport. We weren’t planning to visit Penola but did so when a staff member recommended it and so glad we did.”

“We ended our Great ocean road trip from Melbourne to Adelaide at Pelican point @ Sandcastles. What an amazing experience for our family of 5! Close to Mount Gambier to visit all the stunning attractions such as Blue lake and Umpherston Sink hole (wouldn’t have known about these if it wasn’t recommended by the host in their perfect guide). From the moment we arrived, host welcome gifts 🙏🥖🍷 - to the water views metres from the back door, clean and very comfortable rooms and bathrooms, stunning……
