“The staff were very helpful and friendly. There was a good selection of food on offer for breakfast. We had an evening meal too which was lovely. We were lucky with the weather so we made use of the outside pool. We visited here as it was my birthday I received a card and shortbread on arrival lovely personal touch thank you.”

“The hotel and room were clean but upon arrival at the designated check in at 3pm the room wasn’t available due to being cleaned and we had to wait until 420pm to gain access to the room. One issue - The room was very cold upon arrival meaning air con was fully functional and cool (outside temp was 26/27degrees), we went out for the evening and upon returning the air con had been deactivated at the central panel (outside temp was still 20C) so we called reception asking for air con to be looked……

“There is a golf course on site which means the golfers enter the building at times which creates mess on the floor apart from that room breakfast and evening meal were lovely.”

“Had a lovely night away. Room was clean and nice to have a fridge with fresh milk for coffee etc. Breakfast was delicious and lots of choice. Outside areas are great for relaxing and nice to have an outside pool. In a quiet area but within walking distance to the beach, train station and town. Great hosts. Would definitely recommend. “What a beautiful day this was. The views from the Inn are stunning. I was welcomed by Kevin (the owner) on arrival. I enjoyed a fabulous home-cooked styled curry for dinner (a must have if you are there for curry night). The rooms are clean and nicely set up. Both Kevin and Suzanne are superb hosts. Looking for a great place to stay this is it. I look forward to my return.”

“Lovely building and really helpful owners / staff . Was really clean and tidy and the breakfast was very good . Only a couple of minor things really , the shower head kept dipping down so was a bit of pain when you were shampooing etc . Bit noisy at night time but obviously the very nice owners can’t help that .”

“Great location, staff were very helpful. Was a nice touch that they put on a free shuttle into Salcombe. They also provided complimentary gin and ice and slice which we thought made the stay even more unique.”

Very very hot fan was supplied but did absolutely nothing (it was the hottest few days) Only one window could open and that was a maximum of 3 inches We will book again but study the facilities much closer . Slightly misleading when you read the descriptions where it says "hotel apartments" Staff were very friendly and cheerful”
