"We booked Molly’s Pantry as a relatively last minute get away (the name helped as our daughter is called Molly) and we were so pleasantly surprised! The house is beautiful, clean and the hosts have thought of everything, including bowls and beds for furry friends! The beds were comfy and the property was spacious enough for us (two adults, two kids). It is a bit of a drive out to shops etc but there is a pub within a two minute walk and the location worked for us. Parking right outside (albeit a...

"We had a wonderful stay at Nutwood accommodation as a family. The property was in a great location, peaceful yet accessible, and the space inside was amazing — clean, spacious, and perfect for our group. The garden was another highlight, beautifully maintained and great for relaxing outdoors. One small note is that the parking is limited to space for one car, and the surrounding road appears to be private with restricted parking. However, this didn’t cause us any problems as we were able to fit...

The Sun Inn

8/10 Good
"The staff there are really nice, the food and drinks were also really good. Free parking around the back is useful as is the Tesco that is plonked immediately at the front too. The only reason I have marked them less stars is that we were asked to not use our shower as it had started leaking into the restaurant below and that someone would be up ahortly to assess and fix it. Nobody came, nobody gave us any updates and it ended up that we couldn’t use the amenities in our room which we all wanted and needed to do! A special shout out to David the barman, was truly fantastic. If we were out of the room and downstairs in the pub, he was almost like a butler. Offered to carry our bags upstairs, I took some drinks to the family and before I could even turn around he appeared behind me carrying the rest of the orders, extremely polite and more than helpful well above and beyond expectations! 🙌"
