“Beautiful cabin in a remote yet convenient location. The view from the back porch/deck was amazing. A very relaxing place to come after a busy day of hiking and sightseeing.”

“This was our second trip to this property for a family reunion. No complaints at all. I wonder if there are any plans to put up handrails in the bathroom and the three stairs in the hall.”

“I found the Rusty Lantern is a beautiful home in the mountains. The rear porch is large with an awesome view. The large kitchen makes preparing meals simple. There is a large table in the kitchen and a huge picnic table on the back porch. The house and porches were perfectly clean, not a spider web in sight. If you want quiet, and I mean really quiet, the Rusty Lantern is for you.”

“It is a good hotel, very clean and beautiful surroundings, just a little noisy in the morning, you can hear the talk of some people a lot and sleep goes away”

“The property was well maintained and the staff was helpful. Not sure why they describe the Hermitage Inn “and Taphouse”. The bar and restaurant is a totally separate building and not part of the hotel. A little deceiving. But the room was very clean and well appointed. The staff at both the restaurant and and the hotel were very friendly and helpful”

“The property is clean and conveniently located.”
