“Luxury historical hotel with delicious breakfast buffet in beautiful dining room. Deluxe room with double bed and bunk beds in newly built wing was ideal. Plenty of storage for all the ski clothes, warm, quiet, with private terrace with views. Fantastic location for Slaata ski centre and lifts. ”

“We stopped in Geilo because of the way back to Oslo from Bergen. We knew nothing before arrival but we finally knew that it’s the great place for skiing. After our arrival, we checked in at 7 or 8 pm but the staff still told us the necessary information. The room is spacious but the interior of the ground and underground are in progress of renovation. It will be better after it. The breakfast was good with sufficient choices. We just explored Geilo after it by the recommendation from the……

“This is a great place to stay for walks in the surrounding hills, with some great views. The breakfasts and dinners were excellent and I think I ate too much as it was so food. The lounge area is quiet and very homely, nice to sit with a cup of coffee & read. The lady manager was very kind and helpful & allowed me to practice my bad Norwegian on her 😉”
