"I was VERY lucky to find a room at Lareau Farm Inn a week before the solar eclipse on April 8th, and at a most reasonable price. My luck aside, we enjoyed the rustic decor and settings of this inn; we especially appreciated the hospitality of the staff and the yummy cook-to-order breakfast offerings included. "

"The hosts are welcoming, the B&B is cozy and clean, and the breakfast is delicious. This is an old house from the 1800’s with all the charm you would expect, but completely renovated to have all the modern conveniences and very clean. The wood burning fireplace is so inviting. The breakfast is not your typical breakfast. It is a three course delight. We stayed 2 nights. "We had a nice stay at the Mt Philo Inn. The hosts are so lovely and super accommodating. The East Suite is spacious and homey. It would be perfect for a family. We were given a perfectly curated basket with all the fixings for a Vermont breakfast which we greatly appreciated especially on this snowy weekend. The location is wonderful if you’re interested in hiking as you can walk right to the mountain which we loved. The hosts even supply sleds for a bit of winter fun! "

"Stayed here to access the Sugarbush ski area. Easy 10-15 minute drive with on-site parking at cabin. Super cute with fire wood provided for use in both the inside fire place and outside fire pit. Cabin abuts the river which makes a nice coffee spot. Easy access to hiking trails. Only things to consider is that beds require climbing a ladder to access so keep that in mind if people have mobility issues. Also no TV so bring your own device if you have something you would like to watch."
