“What I didn't like: My husband and I arrived early and asked if there was a chance that we could check into the hotel early. The receptionist looked on her pc and said she didn't have anything available. We left and came back at 130p and I stood in front of the receptionist -w/o being acknowledged- for approx 10 mins and than she asked me what my last name was. She had our room available so after we got into the room, I had to disinfect EVERYTHING as the room was pretty gross. The toilet smelled……

“This property shows up on Expedia with high marks and reviews. It couldn't be more misleading!! Room looked nothing like the pictures online. The room was dirty with what appeared to be some colored liquid (soda, tea, beer) drip marks all over the walls, as if someone had thrown it around. The refrigerator was not plugged in when I got in the room and the refrigerator door would not stay shut properly. It was also dirty on the outside...what appeared to be bug poop around the door seal and……

“I had a great stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Harlingen Convention Center. It rained the entire time, so I didn’t get to use the pool, but everything else about the hotel was excellent. The property is clean, comfortable, and well‑kept. I want to give special recognition to Sebastian at the front desk. I had just purchased new rocking chairs and was worried about leaving them in my truck during a major thunderstorm. Sebastian immediately offered to store them safely in the conference room……
