“Samantha checked us in and is so friendly and kind. I enjoyed chatting with her almost every day during our week long stay. Debbie is an excellent server at the breakfast buffet and even gave us great advice on local bakeries and easy hiking spots to check out. Also, Yasheen is wonderful at the front desk. Our room was spacious, clean and quiet. The window had an unobstructed view of birch trees and forest. Very comfortable bed and we slept great. Parking was never a problem even during the busy……

“The room was perfect and the outside area was fantastic. Located right on a river with a covered bridge that was an easy walk. Had a great conversation with the owner one night on the outside patio with a fire going in the fireplace on the patio. Would definitely stay there again when in the Woodstock area. Inn is dated 1791.”

“It’s a typical inn—nothing more, nothing less. To be honest, I haven’t stayed at an inn in quite a while, so maybe this is standard now. There is no daily housekeeping unless you specifically request it. Even after we did, I’m 100% sure the bed sheets were never changed. The shower water pressure is extremely low, although the water does get nice and hot. The towel warmer in the bathroom was a nice touch. The most ridiculous thing in the room was the “mini fridge.” It’s more like the tiny……

“At first I was a tad freaked pot! You are given a code to open your room door as well as the huge 2 rooms with coffee tea a washer dryer ice silver ware towels etc... In other words you maintain your own needs. Yes there is a chambermaid if wanted..The rooms are decorated to the 9"s,,also dog friendly. Exquisite bed and beddings..Extra pillows blankets if needed so clean you can eat off the floor so to speak....You pull right up to your door. It is 26.9 miles to Dartmouth Hitchcock.......I did……

“Great hotel! Our room was spacious and we loved having a full size fridge and mini-kitchen. Insanely loved the bath products (sorry, I love that kind of thing!). We had a great dinner at the restaurant which has a wonderful vibe and friendly staff. When we checked in, the front desk staff forgot to mention breakfast was included (clearly I had forgotten, too)-- took me 2 days to realize that! Breakfast was great. Another plus-- the gigantic backyard/meadow adjacent to the river is stunning and……
