“My Daughter and I visited COHO in late January for a ski trip during a snowstorm. We were greeted by the owners and their daughter Rosie shoveling off our entrance to room. The room had exactly what we needed for a overnight stay. After Dinner we went into Lobby/Lodge and played board games, vintage Pacman and bought some local craft beer. We had hot coco/tea. I was lucky to have great conversations with owners and talk about them rehabbing and reviving COHO and challenges that come along with……

“Fun stay at a neat old inn in a very convenient and lovely location, walking distance to good food and shopping. This is an older hotel that doesn’t have all the updated and most modern conveniences but if it did, it would be twice as expensive and I probably would not have stayed there. And it would probably lose some of its charm. Lovely on site restaurant and every thing is very clean and neat, freshly painted, I would, and probably will, stay here again next time I am in the area. Very……

“We stayed at the Days Inn in Rutland, Vermont, and overall it was a very basic experience — really just a place to sleep for the night and not much more. The complimentary breakfast was pretty terrible with very limited options and not much quality. The hotel advertises itself as updated, but it honestly didn’t feel that way. The beds were incredibly noisy — even just walking by them made the frames creak and clang loudly like a gong. It made it difficult to move around the room without waking……

“Baseboard heater clicking on and off kept from sleeping. This was in the second room- the first one was under other guests where we could hear them normal voice and their footsteps. The location to the lift is great but the sound insulation is terrible. ”

“This place was absolutely sublime; impeccably clean, well appointed and the innkeeper is extremely personable. The view from the room is classic New England with green mountains in the background. The toiletries are of extremely high quality. It will be my go-to lodging when I'm in the area!”
