Top Whitethorn Hotel Reviews
Dean Creek Resort
"The property is very cute and cozy as well as clean. We loved the cats that greet you upon arrival. The only minor complaint is that you have to ask for ice at the front desk, which is closed overnight and was not open when we departed, but the staff was lovely when we checked in the night before and we had a great stay."
Black Sands Inn
"Beauty place and view with balcony. Well taken care of. Nice location with several places within walking distance. Parking, ok. You can here the surf and Sea Lions barking from room."
The Northern Inn
"Very quiet location. Room was clean and comfortable. The only thing I would have added is a chair and desk, maybe instead of the chest of drawers which I never use. Check-in was quick and easy and our request for downstairs rooms was honored."
Redwoods River Resort
"★★★★★ An absolute slice of old-school redwood magic We had an incredible stay at Redwoods River Resort—everything about it was simply amazing. The location is completely unbeatable, offering that classic, old-school campground vibe nestled right in the heart of the majestic redwoods. We stayed in one of the lodge rooms, and it was super clean, cozy, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we could possibly need. The staff across the board were wonderful and went out of their way to be great hosts. A major highlight of the trip was the on-site pub. It's easily the best feature of the resort, with delicious food and an incredible atmosphere. Even better, the pub staff were exceptionally accommodating with dietary preferences, easily navigating both gluten-free and vegetarian options. If you're looking for the ultimate authentic redwood getaway with fantastic amenities and great food, this is the place. We can't wait to come back!"
Motel Garberville
"Plenty of parking. We arrived later than expected and woke the shop owner so that maybe why there was no welcome or small talk. Just pushed the paper to sign through the little window and handed me the key. The place was quiet until early in the morning when the Mexican laborers were continually pounding on the next-door. Trying to wake up one of their buddies. He was either in the bathroom or sound asleep, after that we were all awake. I do realize that has nothing to do with the property or the property owner. It’s just what happens at lower end hotels. I would stay again, it was clean, seriously outdated, but comfortable and parked right outside my door 4 not a lot of money."
Glamping in the Redwoods, with a hot tub! The Orchard
"We would definitely come back"
Oceanfront Inn at Shelter Cove
"Great value. Very clean besides the hot tub."
Inn Of The Lost Coast
"Limited cell service, beautiful cliffs, and a small tight knit community. The most amazing place to have a spiritual awakening. There’s not much around but I needed that."
Oceanfront Luxurious Home, Pet Friendly, Hot Tub, Fly In and Walk from Airstrip
"Great stay! The house is super clean, and the view is spectacular! Feels incredibly private to be so close to the restaurants. I loved every single second of my stay and am already looking forward to returning. Thanks, Marcy!"
