“Host was very responsive to requests and communications. Property was in a convenient location. Property could improve on cleanliness. Kitchen was not well stocked. Had to purchase towels for clean8ng the counter tops. Backyard was covered in weeds and big holes, so our dogs could never use them. Property seem very popular as there was check in and out on the same day, leaving insufficient time for thorough cleaning.”

This unit has a cockroach problem. The owner said that he has never had this problem before; however, I looked back at the reviews to see if I had missed any mention of this. Sure enough, it looks like the September 7th review of this unit also mentioned pests inside. I can confirm this, and there were also bugs on the balcony……

“The exterior photos and location are lovely, but I booked this stay to get a weekend breath after a death in the family and was devastated to arrive to an unfinished shack that had no running water, no insulation, cracks and holes in the walls with the roof patches falling in, and a wasp infestation! This is not the kind of stay that I would wish on my enemy. We froze all night, flight off spiders and yellow jackets returning to a missing nest, and were bothered by loose dogs that weren't listed……
