“I am always thankful for getting my blessings. The staff (Debbie & Nicole) were both pleasant and helpful, coming and going. Everyone including a housekeeping staff made me feel welcome! It made my day. The amenities were much appreciated! I needed the ironing board & top-of-the-line steam iron they had to offer. I was attending a wedding that day. “Mold everywhere, on the ceiling, under the mattress, condom boxes laying around, food stuck to the wall in the rooms. And this was two different rooms that I checked out and ended up getting a refund instead of staying here. The health department should shut this place down.”

“We needed an overnight stay and found BW with decent reviews. Check-in was a breeze. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the sheets were clean and soft, and the AC worked perfectly well with the South Carolina heat and humidity. And the toiletries, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion were good to have. The breakfast was nice, with sausage, eggs, waffles, and bagels. Great value. Easy on and off the highway.”

“Let me start off with the staff a gentleman help me because I just needed to stay somewhere quick I went through my Expedia and I got a third-° from a worker and then he knew I was handicapped and he still didn’t give me a room next to the handicap spot if you check in and think you’re gonna use the pool, they close it at seven although since the room wasn’t very good, the beds were lopsided the desk and where the TV in the microwave were sticky. “This is an older motel and it shows. Rooms have been somewhat upgraded but the electrical system is not good. My microwave ran twenty seconds and then tripped the breaker. I was able to reset it, but it kept tripping it. Upstairs room was having a very loud party.”

“To be new, it didn’t feel that way. Our room was not very clean. Shower had mildew on shower curtain, dirt and buildup around the room, unfinished/not finished properly areas of the room(walls, around light switches, bathroom counter). It was an okay stay but I did expect more/better from a new Marriott.”

“This property was a huge disappointment. The bathroom was dirty, the baseboards and walls were filthy, and the overall cleanliness of the room was unacceptable. On top of that, the staff was unfriendly and unhelpful. I would not recommend staying here. Between the poor condition of the property and the lack of customer service, I will not be returning.”

“I would stay here again and again. I love the ambiance and charm of the historic home which still shines through along side the luxurious updates in the beautiful bathroom, soft rugs, comfy bed. They have thought of everything and provided a beautiful space to enjoy it in. Games, toiletries, coffee, water, an honor wine bar upstairs. I cannot wait to go back.
