The room was fine. However, in August 2026, it will be warm. Therefore, we had to open the door to the balcony. This meant that we had an endless cloud of smoke entering our room from guests who smoked cigarettes on their balconies. And the road noise due to being next to a main road was quite intolerable at night. We asked for a fan, and were told that there were none left. I'm sorry, but without air conditioning or a fan, I cannot recommend this hotel as the noise/smoke means that opening the balcony door for fresh/cool air makes for an unpleasant experience. Plus, when we checked in, the older woman at the front desk took several minutes to acknowledge us, and when she did, it was with an actual scowl. I wanted to like this hotel, but it's definitely not a good place to visit with a family during the summer.
