Great location, good service, decent rooms

The service is wonderful and friendly. The location is ideal. The rooms are quite basic and the sound insulation between rooms and floors is also very basic. So it was easy to be woken up in the morning by a nearby room getting cleaned.

Great spacious contemporary home from home room for 3 friends travelling together located in central Porto. Adjoining restaurant served great food in a homely contemporary relaxed setting with spectacular night views of city. Room was very noisy at night from street below but guess that’s what you get from such a central location at a weekend. Rooms overlooking back of GH might be quieter. They kindly offered to leave breakfast out early for us but only had bread and jam with no tea or coffee! Also both restaurant booking in Porto and return taxi to airport made at reception didn’t materialise, which was v disappointing and caused quite bit of hassle for us to sort out for ourselves, as guesthouse was closed on Sunday afternoon. Overall it was a lovely guesthouse run by some lovely people, sadly just let down by a few unreliable key services.
