We weren’t sure if it was a less safe area than the typical tourist go to (west end) or if we were just over thinking it and too used to be our picket fence life back home ! “ We stayed in Roatan for 30 days. Our first impression of the place was the building looked nice. The inside was OK but what they outfitted the place with was horrible, the cheapest stuff you could possibly buy. Yes it did work but we got a good laugh every time we had to use anything. The first three nights a huge tree keep banging into the side of the house with the slightest breeze. The oven didn't work and we ran out of propane. The nice repair guy told us it was broke and no repairs were……
