“Mirleft est une petite station balnéaire très calme en ce début décembre. L'hôtel l'était également. Un accueil très agréable et sympathique de la part de Saïd. La chambre est simple mais confortable. La salle de bain petite mais la douche est très forte et très chaude ce qui n'est pas toujours le cas dans ces petits hôtels. Nous avons mangé sur place car il n'y a pas grand chose dans les environs, c'était très correct. Le petit-déjeuner est aussi correct. Bref une étape simple mais tout à fait……

4 km outside of Tafraoute, the Belgian painter Jean Veran have made his stunning art project. The painted stone formations come as a surprise to you and are a contrast to the landscapes own golden red colors. Jean Veran helps you to experience the beauty of the landscape in a new, and for my part, stronger way. Some places the whole mountain is painted in blue. My personal opinion is that his artistic expression is strongest when he is limited to only paint single stones and restricted areas.
