"I have to praise the owner of the house for his kindness and reactivity. The house is very big (much more than the pictures sugggest). That was a very nice surprise for us. The house is very well equipped, all you need for a stay is there. The view in the ocean is nice, the yard is very pleasant, and the trampoline was a great plus for my kids. "Lovely house, lagoon area has breeze even at height of summer in August. Good base, Obidos, 20 mins away, is a medieval town with very impressive castle. Beautiful buildings with local artists selling paintings and prints, plenty of good restaurants. Lisbon is an hour away. A car is essential to get around, as the house is situated up a forested hill above lagoon. Excellent walks and runs around the lagoon, which is only 15 mins away by foot. "The house and pool area is well maintained and comfortable. Our only issue was the host made up only a single bed (queen ) with only a single pillow per person. We sleep with (2) pillows each - there were no additional bedding anywhere in the house. Also just a set of 2 towels per person for the week’s stay. We were renting a (3) bedroom property ; the host could have left additional bedding and towels which was the case in the other places we stayed in during this trip."

We recommend to visit Ericeira and Lissabon when you are here. Jos was very helpful - he took a trip from Belgium to Portugal when we had some issues with the electricity!
