Staff was super friendly and made sure to point out the complimentary mini bar in the room. Only downside the elevator is super tiny. So be prepared to take the stairs if in a hurry."

"This was an amazing property. My only small complaints were that our shower barely drained and the bath towels smelled dingy/not freshly laundered. The pool in our unit was SOOOOO HOT, thus not refreshing, but only mother nature's relentless sunshine caused that issue. Maybe a shade of some sort over the pool can help with that problem, but it didn't make our vacation any less wonderful! The hotel's main pool was nice and cool so we found ourselves there often. The beach was just steps away, which provided a good breeze. Everyone we encountered was very friendly. Dulce' was our chef and was amazing. Every dish she made was perfect! She had fresh guac, pico and margaritas ready for our arrival and I've never tasted better. The views from our balcony were beautiful. We loved watching the sunsets every evening. We walked around every day, enjoying the shops and one night had a great meal at a nearby beach restaurant. We are already looking to return next summer."

"The roof top pool is great with beautiful views of the bay and the mountains. The staff are very nice and helpful. The rooms are comfortable with a great balcony to enjoy. The only drawback are the staff in the office; they are pretentious, ignorant, unwelcoming, and otherwise difficult to work with."

"The property is a gem in a great neighborhood. Convenient to the beach as well as to tons of great restaurants. The rooms are a bit dated but very clean. This property, however, would not be good for anyone with mobility issues as there are stairs everywhere."

"We had a great stay! The home was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and met all our expectations. The location was perfect, close to everything we needed, beach was a short walk away. There was a bit of noise at times, but nothing that disrupted our stay. Overall, we really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend! Communication with the host was excellent. "The place was centrally located in Old Vallarta, just a few blocks from th ebeach.Amazing view of the bay as well as sunsets every night.The property itself was immaculate. As we travelled in the middle of summer, the swimming pool was pretty warm but still cooled you off.We had a vehicle and they provided us with a place to safely park it which was a plus.Easy access to shops and restaurants around the area as well as the "Malecon"I would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to stay away from the New Vallarta hussle and bussle. Taxis and/or Ubers are readily available so it is very easy to go to places.Love it and my family did as well."

From the decor, to the pool and grounds, and feel, it was exactly what I was looking for. The only down side was not finding a cocktail shaker for margs, but we made do. "Been to the fabulous 406 many times over the years. It’s perfect! Just perfect. Come alone & enjoy your own zen. Come with your partner & it is a romantic haven. Bring another couple & it’s fun times at this fully stocked & thoughtfully set up huge condominium with a panoramic unobstructed view from Mismaloya to Punta Mita! Plus your private veranda with a dipping pool. Can’t wait to come back!"

"The Carriage House did not disappoint-it is exactly how it is represented in photos. The staff was very welcoming yet allowed us our privacy. From the moment we stepped onto the property, Arturo was there to let us in and show us where everything was (and made himself available throughout our stay). Oscar was beyond accommodating, answering our questions immediately and constantly bringing us cold drinks! The daily laundry service was a blessing; I cannot tell you how wonderful it was to not have to do laundry upon our return home. Magali cleaned daily, brought us plenty of fresh towels, and even turned paper towels and toilet paper into little works of art. The property is located in a quiet cul de sac off of Calle Santa Barbara. We had zero issues with excessive noise, and it was particularly peaceful at night, even with a party at the Villa. Access to Amapas and Conchas Chinas beaches was easy, and the location gives you the best of both worlds...an easy walk into town via the beach or 200, yet far away enough from the city for quiet nights. Uber rides were cheap, and we had everything we needed for our stay...all appliances worked and it is the perfect space for two people. The A/C worked well. We visit PV every year and have never felt unsafe anywhere that we have stayed, but The Carriage House felt exceptionally secure with Arturo on duty at night and the security gate in front of the stairwell to the apartment that locks. We will definitely be back!"

"This was our last stay on a Tanner 11 night 17th anniversary trip for my wife and I and I think this was our favorite. Aside from the all-inclusive Hyatt Ziva that’s six to $700 a night, this place ended up being around 100 a night & the room was bigger, it was quieter and more peaceful, and the staff were so helpful. We will definitely be back as this is the perfect location in the Beverly Hills of Puerto Vallarta and it’s like the name says a little villa with a private Jacuzzi outside. We felt like royalty for $100 a night. They get six stars, but I can only give them five."
