But when I parked illegally and went to check in, the lovely receptionist, Kelly, spoke to the restaurant and asked that I be allowed to park in a specific spot not typically allowed for patrons. So appreciated after the drive from Dublin in the rain. The room was very large, with a separate lounge area and was generally clean. “MICHAEL!!! We’ve been in Ireland for 5 nights and have stayed in 5 different places. The Lodge was above all our favorite! Michael was so warm and welcoming and had the best suggestions. The pizza place next-door is amazing! We were in Italy, 2 Christmases ago and this pizza was even better!”
