“The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We were staying to do the MacMillan Mighty Hike in Bakewell which meant leaving before breakfast, the staff made us sausage sandwiches to take with us so we’d have food before starting our hike. The atmosphere in the hotel was very pleasant with locals enjoying the bar and outdoor area along with guests. Our evening meal and breakfast on our second morning was delicious, served promptly and staff popped over to ensure everything was ok. The……

“Overall we had a pleasant stay. We stayed for 1 night as we were visiting Chatsworth house the next day, and the location was convenient. The check-in process was smooth, staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was pretty standard, spacious, comfy bed. On site parking was decent The only things I can say negatively was the shower wasn't great, the toilet had a really weak flush. The floor was very creeky, and there was quite a bit of noise coming from the room above in the morning.”

“Check in: at the bar. Wait for 5 minutes as the staff served at the bar at that time. Wifi: good. Room: spacious, clean. One grocery shop near by, 5 minutes walk. No self laundry service. Breakfast: not buffet except juoice, milk and cereal, ok, basic. ”
