“Although our stay was cut short due to a snowstorm, the accommodations with Charles were great. We usually take a hotel room when down in Southbury visiting family. From here on we will certainly be staying with Charles. The accommodations were clean and comfortable and communication was good.

“The stay was truly them most comfortable, easy, enjoyable and relaxing stay. Mansoon, the owner, let me know in advance about not being able to swim - I mean it’s like 20-40 degreees depending. He was so helpful and informative check in. It was clean, sticks and here always acquire to help or provide something I may need. I am going through a have time and staying here was truly a God send. “We loved this little cottage. Our host, Mariana, had stocked the cottage with lots of amenities. Lots of coffee, ample towels, TP, tissues, disposable toothbrushs and toothpaste, paper towels, extra blankets, even wood bricks for the fireplace! Much more than you normally find. All this made our stay so comfortable and relaxing. We will definitely book again. ”

“We camped at Freedom Farm and enjoyed the secluded woods setting for our tent. Everything was clean and well prepared for our stay, and the hosts were friendly and helpful. It is beautifully situated and is a short drive from some excellent hiking and biking in nearby state parks.
I think a couple of things, though, could be improved.
The tent was set up on an incline, which made sleeping a bit less comfortable than it might have been. I would recommend that the hosts build a level platform……
