Bed was comfortable and I did appreciate the tea, sugar and milk provided , but the room itself was quite cold -with one tiny inadequate heater . Bathroom was also very cold and smelled very damp and unfortunately the toilet seat was loose and shooting off to one side. "

The only thing to be aware of is there is no shower in either bathroom (likely due to low ceilings), although both have a mixer tap with a showerhead so you can sit / kneel and shower this way. Whilst its proximity to the road is close, it was not a busy road, so passing traffic was not an issue during our stay. There was a pub within 1min walk of the property that also...

All staff were very friendly and helpful. Special mention to the chef (with the jack russell puppy) who made the most amazing breakfast! The shower was powerful and the toiletries provided were of great quality."
