“This property was very clean but dated. We had a good restful time. The old Wigemog Inn is next door. In the thirties it was going place with the likes of Jimmy Dorsey playing there. The rich would come from Toronto to stay the summer. The Inn has been left to rot by its last owner. It looks like a eyesore. As a result investment in upgrading at Haliburton Heights has been put on hold till they get the inn demolished.”

“We enjoyed the cottage! Our host Sherri got in touch to ensure that we had a way to get to the cottage as it’s water access only. We arrived to a neat and tidy place. Swimming off the dock was enjoyed by our youngest who is 4 and our oldest at 17!! Fishing from the dock or picking any location on Ravens lake with either the row boat, canoe or kayak (all provided) was awesome for all of us! The lake is a good size to cruise in the boat and just explore and we also did some tubing. Very friendly...

“A cottage well equipped to make meals, enjoy sunsets in porch without worry of mosquitos, equipment for folks who enjoy water sports. However, no TV coverage, only WIFI so evenings , if not folks who enjoy doing games, watching DVDs, evenings can be boring. Toilet usage can be a bit troublesome if a large group as takes time for removal of wastes via toilet. Overall, for us, it met our needs. ”

“The smell of the water was unreal, comparable to rotten eggs. Could not shower without gagging. Listing is for 8 people and yet there was enough cutlery for 6. “We recently stayed at the Salerno Lake Cottage with our family, and it was absolutely lovely. The lake view from the dock, porch, and even inside the cottage was stunning. It was the perfect getaway for our family to relax and enjoy nature. The cottage was well-equipped with a paddle board, kayaks, and a canoe. Just a quick note: it can get a bit warm during the hot weather, so I recommend bringing some fans to stay comfortable. However, it does cool down nicely at night with the windows...
