“I struggled a bit with this review. We had traveled to the area to visit with our grown children, grandchildren and even great grandchildren. The location was a bit remote, the house was rustic and could use some fixes and furniture replacements. But when i think of our stay, the word that cones to mind is charming. We hosted our family, aged 47 to 2 without concern for breaking or messing up anything. The kitchen wasn't as well stocked as we are accustomed to but we managed to feed everyone...

“We rented this wonderful home to enjoy time at Lake Nimrod without have to tent camp or camper camp. Just minutes from the lake we enjoyed the convenience and comforts of home without missing out on the family fun camping. I traveled with my 17yr old daughter and 90 year old mother it was perfect with internet and tv for winding down in evenings. The host was so great and communicated so quickly and easily that I had no worries my entire stay. ”

“The house was extremely nice it was clean and even though it is way in country and cell signal was sketchy the WiFi was awesome. The views were awesome. The hosts were super helpful and quick to respond to questions. We would love to stay there again. ”

“This place is great if you want to get away and appreciate a natural setting up on the mountain overlooking the valley. It is very peaceful and relaxing in the sunroom or on the hammock chairs out on the gazebo. The bedrooms are simple with queen size beds in each and one bathroom.
