“The breakfast was superb. It was so nice having a breakfast that was individually cooked and delivered to the table hot. The property is old and the floor in my room was at a slight incline. Not a problem at all but I did describe it as being like the house in the film of The Ladykillers - and that is with total affection as I love that film. “Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room we had (family room) was tired and well used. Poorly set out, occupants of the double room had to go through the twin room to access the bath room. Unfortunately very noisy hot and smelly due the kitchen extractor fan located outside the bedroom window. “The pub is set in a beautiful village and is old and quaint. It has s very close to Ham Hill Country park. It has a large bar area with lots of unique table spots to relax in. There is also a garden which I didn't use but looked nice from the window in my room. There is a campsite which is well appointed and great for a campervan stopover which is what I originally planned to do. The staff were very welcoming and attentive.
