“This home was outstanding! The beautiful view of the mountains and the fall colors were breathtaking. The property was visited daily by a herd of 15 mule deer that grazed and bedded down for the night just yards away from the house. A badger and some bunnies were also hanging around. “The inn is an easy, beautiful 25-minute drive away from the North Rim of the Black Canyon of the Gunnison. The proprietors, Nathan and Lara, are very friendly and provided plenty of useful information and recommendations for things to do. “This property was a classic property in Paonia. We had a very pleasant stay with a delicious home-cooked breakfast. It’s in a central area of Paonia which made it convenient to walk around. We would definitely return. The only disadvantage I could see is it is not an accessible property from what I noticed. Otherwise definitely a good choice.”

“Quiet, clean, and peaceful. It's what we were looking for. I wouldn't call the location "remote", but it is tucked away from the world around and quiet. Very comfortable bed. The cabin had everything we needed to prepare meals (you should definitely plan ahead as you are not near any food options). Parking was easy. Host was pleasant and easy to communicate with.
