"I originally booked a Vang Vieng Night Market resort(former Confetti garden resort). When I arrived at the the resort, a female staff let us check-in. She told me that the resort had been closed down due to a storm 3 days before and I had to move to Confetti hotel, about 10 minutes away on foot from the original resort that I had booked. They never let me know what had happend through an e-mail or phone call. What an embarrassing situation it was! We were transferred to Confetti hotel unhappily....

If your main reason for going to the area is to do activities in vang vieng I would stay in the city itself as it is quite a long taxi drive (about 40 mins) but if you want a relax and occasional activity in Vang Vieng then this is perfect. "The front staffs were really friendly professional for young staff,very helpful and great smiles all the time. The only thing i would change is the shower part,it need a door or something to nlock water all over bathroom floor. That was the only disappointing part of the stay. Everytbing was great.
